Finding the right team to become your Staff is one of the most critical steps in the nonprofit organizational process. Rule of Thumb: Don’t think of family & friends first! Think of those who share your passion and can visualize the dream. YOU must also consider the allocation of their time. What does that mean exactly? YOU must know how much time these people can give towards your NPO. Is it 10, 25, 50, or 100 percent? Any percent is acceptable. Don’t fault anyone for not giving more than you think. You should always expect less; but, when they’re involved, they’re involved. Remember, they have lives too!
